Ticketed event- you order  wine from Savvy(arrives Saturday morning at Club) Three bottles of wine  for $75.00 chosen for you and an optional cheese/charcuterie board for  two $28.50 Starts 4:30 pm in Clubhouse. HELLO LCYC MEMBERS and FRIENDS!

Please join us for a WINE AND CHEESE at the end of May as we share  good company, in our beautiful setting at LCYC. Your lead Sommelier for  this tasting is Debbie Trenholm - a sailor from Nepean Sailing Club in  Ottawa. She is the President of Savvy Company - her own business for the  past 20 years that exclusively showcases wine, craft cider and artisan  cheeses that are made in Canada and are hard-to-come by. Debbie will  share the backstories of the featured wine and the winemakers as well as  provide some pro food and wine pairing tips. Debbie will come to our  club to conduct a fun wine tasting featuring 3 wines that are perfect  summertime wines Our friends at Country Produce have arranged for  special harcuterie boxes pictured above to be available featuring four  cheeses, charcuterie, olives, two jars of jelly, and grapes. Cost $29.00  per box (2 people).

Sommelier curated wine selection includes:

• 1 bottle of Viognier made at Lakeview Cellars - a rare grape  variety in Niagara that makes one of Debbie's favorite white wines. This  little known winery makes some impressive white, reds and Port like  wines too.
• 1 bottle of Long Weekend Rose made by Fielding Wines -  chill this crowd pleasing Rose wine and be guaranteed a delicious wine  no matter how long your weekend actually is!
• 1 bottle of  Cabernet Merlot made by Marynissen Estate Winery. A hidden gem of a  winery with incredible value-for-your-money wine. Isn't that what every  sailor wants? Pour yourself a big glass or stock up to make this your  "house wine" on and off the lake. Medium bodied and smooth sailing.

Cost of 3 wines with Sommelier led wine tasting experience with a pair of wine tasting glasses: $75.
